Okay so I have never done anything like this before so I might have a few bumps here and there with how smooth this goes.
My name is Sydni and I am a mother of three. If you read the "About Me" page, you know that two of those kids are the four-legged kind. I have a four-year-old dog named Freya and a one-year-old dog named Nyx. My son is only three months old at the moment and I love him dearly. He's the reason I decided to make this site and to write this blog. I want him to be able to have access to any information he wants. I have knowledge that others can benefit from so I decided to share it.
This site will be multipurpose. I will be putting my creations on here for sale as well as selling patterns and recipes as I come up with them. The blog will be for sharing information with people who are learning to crochet or to make their own soap or body product as well as any other craft I pick up. I'm currently learning about making soap and other body product so I will be sharing both my successes and my failures. It's going to be an interesting experience that's for sure.
I'm sure you're wondering what makes me feel like I have enough knowledge that I can actually teach anyone anything. Thats simple I have been crocheting since I was five years old, I will be twenty-eight this year. Thats twenty-three years of experience. I have picked up plenty of tips and tricks as well as interesting stitches. We will talk about reading patterns and about reading graphs, which is actually something that a lot of crocheters never learn how to do or they master how to do one but not the other.
I will teach you how to do the basic stitches one at a time with pictures. Then we will talk about combining the different stitches to get different effects and textures. I might even try teaching you how to write your own patterns.
I'm sure there are things that I am missing or that I will want to add later but as of right now that's all I can really think to say. I will try to write at least one blog post a day. As well as keep working on the site until I have it exactly the way I want. Please feel free to leave questions in the comments section. I will answer everything that I can.
With love,
Sydni
