I know I'm off to a bad start. I promised to do daily blog posts and I have not. You must forgive me. Currently I'm organizing a donation to a local pregnancy center as well as participating in what we are calling a "Granny Square Exchange" program where we all make granny squares and send them to the other people on the list. With more than 100 granny squares to make and also taking care of my son and other projects my blog fell to the back burner and for that i am sorry. I have one pattern that is currently being tested to see how beginner friendly it is, and once testing is complete, I will post the pattern on here. I think I will add the pattern that I am using to make my Granny Squares as well. One of the patterns in using is by Hooked by Robin but I have changed it so that I don't have as many ends to weave in.
This is the granny heart Square. The heart is made first then a row is added to help make it square, this row is also the reason that the heart appears to sit on top of the square even though it is made at the same time.
This is a no seam granny square. There are no beginning chains in this granny square so there is no seam to find. all the corners look the same, but one is made with a half double crochet instead of a chain two.
